engage your workforce

Whether you're looking for opportunities to engage a remote or hybrid workforce or want to showcase your corporate values to attract new applicants, a Wreaths Across America sponsorship can be a great fit.

Here are how some existing supporters engage their workforce:

The Unum Group

The Unum Group believes that supporting veterans is a daily mindset, not just a one-day special event. Their employees have been participating in the mission to remember, honor, and teach since 2013. In addition to their robust support of their employees and others in the communities they serve who are military veterans, Unum has provided financial support to Wreaths Across America through wreath sponsorships.

”People like to go out and do this. It gives them a chance to learn about their cemeteries, who’s buried there and what their contribution was to this country," said Rachel Hargis, Unum Community Relations Specialist. "We’ve gotten very positive feedback from our employees and other partners we’ve involved.”

Crowley

Last year, Crowley was the official sponsor at the Puerto Rico National Cemetery for National Wreaths Across America Day. They donated the ocean and land transportation services to deliver thousands of wreaths to honor deceased members of the military buried at the national cemetery in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, as well as the Atlantic Gardens Veterans Cemetery in Aguadilla. Crowley’s overall support is estimated at more than $40,000.

“This is an opportunity to show our thanks and appreciation for the unending contributions and sacrifices of those who have served our country along with their families in Puerto Rico and beyond,” said Crowley’s Salvador Menoyo, vice president, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, a native of the island.

REACH YOUR COMMUNITY

Show your support to the national population of veterans and military families, or find a specific location in your community to rally behind. Here are some examples of how corporate partners have stepped up to support the Mission while elevating their companies' brands.

PenFed Credit Union

PenFed Credit Union partnered with Wreaths Across America to share the inspiring stories of our nation’s veterans and their families. As a premium sponsor and the exclusive digital content producer of the wreaths journey in December 2020, PenFed Credit Union joined Wreaths Across America as an escort from Maine to Virginia to document the incredible journey of the wreaths.

"We are passionate about ensuring the men and women who defended our nation's freedoms are honored and remembered,” said James Schenck, president/CEO of PenFed Credit Union and CEO of PenFed Foundation.

“For the past two years, we’ve participated in the wreaths escort and have been moved by the words of veterans, supporters and participants who shared what Wreaths Across America means to them. It’s an honor to continue teaching the next generation by telling the stories of our nation’s heroes and their families."

Fran Haasch Law Group

The Fran Haasch Law Group’s community partnership with Wreaths Across America began in 2010. Over the last decade, the firm has sponsored more than $100,000 worth of wreaths to place on gravestones - from Arlington National Cemetery to Florida National Cemetery. They’ve also sponsored multiple motorcycle club escort rides to Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg and Sarasota National Cemetery.

“Wreaths Across America is a wonderful, family-run organization whose mission is to honor the military and their families," said Fran Haasch.

"We’re a motorcycle law firm that supports injured bikers, many of whom are veterans, so it's the perfect partnership."

Pilot Company

In 2020, Pilot Company donated $20,000 and contributed $20,000 from their round-up campaign to support the Wreaths Across America ceremonies in Knoxville, Tennessee.

“The holiday season is a special time to remember and recognize veterans for their sacrifice,” said James A. Haslam II, a U.S. Army veteran and founder of Pilot Company. “We appreciate Wreaths Across America’s mission of remember, honor and teach and invite our guests to partner with us in support of their goal to lay a wreath on every hero’s grave.
