TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Family and friends gathered Monday night to show their appreciation for a Vietnam veteran.
Marine Corps veteran Ray Henson was recently released from a hospital and placed into hospice care with less than a week left to live.
Loved ones put together a drive-by parade to honor and thank him for his service.
"Every single veteran needs to be recognized, and honored for that, especially our Vietnam veterans that never got a homecoming," said J.D. Dennis with Wounded Veterans of Oklahoma.
Organizes said Henson had been active in Wounded Veterans of Oklahoma for the past five years.
