an Opportunity to ‘Do Good Twice’

Since its founding in 2007, Wreaths Across America (WAA) has partnered with hundreds of like-minded charities, community programs, and civic groups nationwide to remember and honor our nation’s veterans and active-duty military all year.

Our annual Giving in July campaign celebrates these groups and highlights the opportunity to ‘do good twice’ by sponsoring veterans’ wreaths through the organization’s registered Sponsorship Groups. There are multiple ways to make your sponsorship go the extra mile while sponsoring veterans’ wreaths through a WAA Group.

Through a $5 payback group, $5 will be given back to the group to use for their own local missions. Through these groups, WAA has returned more than $25 million to other like-minded charities, community programs, and civic groups nationwide. Additionally, sponsoring through a 3-for-2 group ensures a third veteran’s wreath will be placed for every two sponsored!

Examples of the type of groups that participate include:

  • Daughters of the American Revolution Chapters
  • Civil Air Patrol Squadrons
  • Scouting Groups
  • VFW's
  • American Legion Auxiliary
  • Patriot Guard Riders
  • patriotic motorcycle clubs, school groups, and more!

Like the well-known concept of ‘Christmas in July,’ considering our own charity during the summer months allows us to encourage others to get involved early with the WAA mission and support our nation’s veterans and military families in the communities they live in now.

how it works:

  • Wreaths Across America™ wreath sponsorships are $17 per wreath.
  • Funds are collected by each participating group.
  • Payback Group: $5 of each $17 will be returned to the registered sponsorship group on a 30-day reimbursement cycle.
  • 3-for-2 Group: A third wreath is placed for every two sponsored through the group.
