Celebrate Giving Tuesday with Wreaths Across America

Each year, organizations and individuals worldwide celebrate #GivingTuesday, the global day of giving. This year, Giving Tuesday falls on November 28, 2023, just a few short weeks ahead of our annual National Wreaths Across America Day, which will be observed at more than 4,000 locations across the United States thanks to the dedication and hard work of thousands of core volunteers.

The fact that so many volunteers have come forward to join our mission this year when the challenges are more significant than ever truly leaves our organization humbled and thankful. Thanks to you:

We will support thousands of veteran and civic organizations in communities across the country through our sponsorship groups program

Easy ideas for a successful Giving Tuesday!

Use the social links on your Wreaths Across America page (found at bottom center or mid-page, right hand side) to share your support of Wreaths Across America on social media! Your post will be pre-populated with some text from the page, but be sure to add some unique language to your post about what the Mission means to you.
Download the Giving Tuesday logo for use on your own materials + more resources from GivingTuesday.org.
Share a unique story from your community about the true impact sponsorship can make.
Download a Giving Tuesday Wreaths Across America graphic and share it on social media with the hashtag #GivingTuesday.
Create a Fundraising Campaign on Facebook for Giving Tuesday. Don't forget to notify WAA of your Facebook fundraiser here so your group receives the funds earned.
Go Live! Facebook Live broadcasts are a fun and easy way to update your supporters about your upcoming event and ways to get involved and easily gather donations for Wreaths Across America! You can attach any existing Facebook Fundraiser to a Live video to collect donations for that Fundraiser.

Be sure to include your custom URL to your posts encouraging people to sponsor wreaths directly through your page. This link is www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/YOURID. This remains the best and more direct way to receive wreath sponsorships for your location orgroup!
